PKR to replace Kedah polls coordinator after alleged money politics

PETALING JAYA: PKR is looking to replace its polls coordinator in Kedah after he was detained together with another man in Alor Setar over alleged money politics.

Rashid Din, the party’s central election committee chairman, said work on the polls in Kedah needed to continue.

“We will replace him with someone else. We will find a new person in two or three days,” he told FMT.

“(We are doing this) because the party polls are coming near. Kedah polls will go on as usual. We just need someone else to do the work of the person who is in remand.”
