DUNE ALLEN BEACH — There’s a lot of stress these days among family members and friends who are divided politically, and the current polarized public conversation doesn’t help. Better Angels will host a skills workshop to teach how to have respectful conversations that clarify differences and search for common ground. After a presentation by Jon Wolfe, a Nashville Better Angels moderator, attendees can learn and practice conversation skills. The session will be from 5-8:30 p.m. Monday at the home of organizer Lesa Klein in Dune Allen Beach. There will be a potluck dinner before the actual workshop. By bringing red and blue Americans together into a working alliance, Better Angels hopes to build new ways to talk to one another, participate together in public life and influence the direction of the nation.
