Watch Trump Dismantle Your Will to Live During His Unhinged Rally

Andrew Harnik/AP/REX/Shutterstock President Donald Trump went on a 90-minute extended rant during his rally in Wisconsin on Saturday night, programmed against the White House Correspondents Dinner that he refused to attend. During his unhinged monologue, the president said many ridiculous things that will sap your will to continue living in this nightmare dystopia, including: accusing mothers and doctors of executing newborns, calling the media “sick” and ex-FBI officials “scum,” claiming credit for the “sick” idea of sending undocumented immigrants to sanctuary cities, and doing an impression of the Saudi king’s accent. Speaking about abortion, Trump brought up a lie he’s been touting for a while: that newborn babies are “executed” by their mothers and doctors. He accused Democrats of “aggressively pushing extreme late-term abortion, allowing children to be ripped from their mothers’ womb right up until the moment of birth.” Then, he went even further, saying, “The baby is born, the mother meets with the doctor, they take care of the baby, they wrap the baby beautifully, and then the doctor and the mother determine whether or not they will execute the baby. Here's Trump making another false & unspeakably dangerous claim about abortion: "The baby is born; the mother meets with the doctor. Then the doctor & mother determine whether or not they will execute the baby." “These were dirty players… They’re just leaving because they got caught like nobody ever got caught.” Wow — Trump refers to the FBI and DOJ leaders he's purged from government as "scum" pic.twitter.com/mkjiWZ68cp — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) April 28, 2019 The president also said he was “proud” of his “sick” idea to ship undocumented immigrants to sanctuary cities. In divided Wisconsin, the governor and legislative leaders are barely talking

Democrats say Republicans spoiled chances for bipartisanship with a lame-duck session that peeled power away from Democratic Gov. No," Evers said. As we get further down the line in the budget-making, I’m sure we’ll meet more often.” Fitzgerald said lawsuits challenging the laws Republican legislators passed to limit Evers' power are hampering progress. RELATED: Lame-duck scorecard: Where the cases stand in the fight over GOP laws limiting Wisconsin governor "I think we’re still trying to figure out who to talk to, how to talk to them, and when to talk to them," Fitzgerald said in a statement. If they talked regularly, Evers might be able to persuade Republicans to adopt some of his budget plans, Vos said. Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz said Evers is not interested in political strategy but in addressing public policies. Evers." "Is this something that could be done without legislation?" "I’m happy with the relationship we’ve been able to build with Speaker Vos and the Assembly — we’ll continue to work together and hopefully the governor will decide to engage," Fitzgerald said. Hintz said it's also up to Republicans to be willing to negotiate with a Democratic governor.

Hillary Clinton Is Not a Candidate. She Looms Over 2020 Anyway.

The Klobuchar comment came out of nowhere for the former Democratic presidential nominee: Only three days earlier, Ms. Klobuchar had been sitting in Mrs. Clinton’s Washington home, the latest in a line of 2020 Democrats who had sought her private counsel ahead of their campaigns. “How many candidates have lost their campaign? She has a stature in this party that she has earned.” At a time when Democrats are driven by their desire to defeat Mr. Trump, Mrs. Clinton knows the strengths and weaknesses of the crowded primary field more intimately than perhaps anyone. “She knows almost everybody who’s running, and with most of the people she has a close relationship,” said Mr. Hickenlooper, who interviewed to be Mrs. Clinton’s running mate in 2016 and had dinner with her last year, as he prepared for a possible presidential bid. A notable name not to consult Mrs. Clinton is Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, whose once close relationship with the Clintons deteriorated after she said President Bill Clinton should have resigned over his sexual relationship with a White House intern. Nick Merrill, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton, said, “She’s been meeting with our 2020 candidates and telling them one thing: They can count on her to help get the 65 million-plus Americans who voted for her to vote for our nominee.” But even as she offers supportive words, Mrs. Clinton has given the impression that she harbors a faint hope she could still become president one day. And while several candidates and their advisers said they would welcome her endorsement, they acknowledge it could come with political risk, as Mrs. Clinton remains a representation of the party’s old guard. I hope I will be able to earn that in the future.” The two are now supposed to meet soon, according to a person familiar with the matter. She has specifically warned female candidates of the gendered expectations they will face, in particular on national security. “At the same time, it’s clear we want to go with a laser focus on winning back Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.” A few days after her talk with Mrs. Clinton, Ms. Klobuchar pushed a message of “heartland economics” in Iowa.
