Labour has dropped a spectacular twenty points in opinion polls after the Daily Mail revealed that Jeremy Corbyn makes his tea by putting milk in first. A number of smears against Corbyn seemed to be ineffective until Daily Mail managed to find disturbing video footage of the Labour leader making himself a cup of tea by putting the milk in before the boiling water. Now, Labour, who were pulling ahead of the Conservatives once again, find themselves 17 points behind in opinion polls published today. ‘I didn’t believe that he was a spy but my own eyes would never lie to me. I’ve never seen a more un-British act from a politician in all my years,’ said Philip Robertson, a former Labour backer. The shocking footage and sudden drop of public opinion could instigate another coup from within the Labour Party. ‘With one poorly made cup of tea, Jeremy has completely destroyed all the good will he’d built within the party after last year’s election.
