Britain and EU strike deal on problematic border between Lancashire and Yorkshire

The British government has finally come to terms with the EU over a solution for the problematic border between Lancashire and Yorkshire. Tensions between Lancashire and Yorkshire have existed for centuries and threatened to boil over once more as a result of Brexit. ‘Our current border situation is very reliant on an agreement made between Lancashire, Yorkshire and the EU. Britain leaving the EU would make that arrangement null and void,’ said one concerned Yorkshireman. Thankfully a new agreement has been put in place before Brexit. The new agreement allows for Lancastrians to visit Yorkshire for no longer than 12 hours at a time to purchase cheap goods or visit the viking museum. If a Lancastrian stays over this time limit, they will be forced to live in Yorkshire for the rest of their natural life. In return, any person from Yorkshire may visit Lancashire for up 24 hours just to be somewhere a lot nicer for the day. The punishment for breaking this curfew will be death. Armed border guards will still be in effect.
