Trump goes nuclear on Kellyanne spouse George Conway: ‘Husband from hell!’

President Trump turned up the heat Wednesday in his feud with George Conway, calling the spouse of adviser Kellyanne Conway a “stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!” “George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted. I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. In one of the more bizarre feuds of the Trump era, George Conway has repeatedly questioned the president’s mental health on social media, all while his wife continues to work at the White House. Good for you! #NarcissisticPersonalityDisorder." Nuts." Why would he feel compelled to tell such an absurd lie?” Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale initially responded by claiming he was just sour grapes. Later, Trump retweeted Parscale, adding: “A total loser!” in reference to Conway. But in December, the president’s son, Eric, slammed Conway as disrespectful toward his wife. People do see it that way, I don’t say I do, but people see it that way,” she added.

Karyn Polito’s home left off town’s online database — at husband’s request

SHREWSBURY — Before settling into their new lakeside home in 2016, Lieutenant Governor Karyn E. Polito’s husband had a request that one town official said he’d never gotten before: that details of their $1.5 million house be scrubbed from an online public database. Christopher Reidy, Shrewsbury’s principal assessor, said he consulted with then-town manager Daniel Morgado, who knew Polito because she was among the town officials who had selected him for the job two decades earlier. And “probably within a day,’’ Reidy said, he removed the information, a first in his 10 years with the department. While legally allowed, the exclusion of Polito’s home from easily accessible records is unheard of among the state’s other highest-ranking elected officials. It’s also an anomaly in Shrewsbury, Polito’s lifelong hometown, where she served for years as a selectwoman and state representative and where her family runs — and she owns a piece of — a real estate development company.

‘Women in politics need fire in belly, not a husband’ – Rabbitte

Her remarks come after Fine Gael minister Josepha Madigan advised aspiring female politicians to "get a good husband". Ms Rabbitte - a widow and mother of three teenagers - said her own message to women considering entering politics was: "Once you have the bit between your teeth and fire in the belly, you will succeed. "You don't need to have a husband there, you don't need to have a wife there. The Irish Independent reported how Culture Minister Ms Madigan warned of the "relentless pace" of political life being a "sacrifice and privilege at the same time". Ms Rabbitte's husband, Paddy Callan, died in 2011. She reschedules constituency clinics "depending on who's got a rugby or camogie match". She also said the backing of other women was necessary, saying: "Women aren't great at supporting other women." Ms Rabbitte said at the start of her career she had women saying "has she not enough to be doing?" She said she still gets questions on how the children "cope" without her. She added: "We need to encourage women and not judge them for wanting to step forward."
