The people of Pennsylvania want politicians that care about what the people care about, not just what the large-dollar donors and special interests are pushing. The amount of money influencing the decisions made in the capitol is astounding, and this is not the way our government was intended to work. Gerrymandering has put Pennsylvania in the spotlight this year, and while we have new congressional districts, our state legislators were unaffected by the change. Shift from property tax to an earned income tax, sales tax expansion/increase, another broad-based tax or a combination of the aforementioned.
