HOW TO VOTE IN TENNESSEE

REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT

IF YOU HAVE NOT REQUESTED IT BY OCTOBER 20, YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE IT IN TIME TO CAST YOUR VOTE.

TENNESSEE DOES NOT CONSIDER FEAR OF COVID-19 A VALID ABSENTEE EXCUSE. You must fall under one of these categories to vote absentee by-mail in Tennessee. You may, however, apply for absentee by-mail if you or someone you care for determines that they are suscpetible to contracting COVID-19. A doctor’s note is not required.

If you are a first time voter who registered by mail or online, follow all directions carefully. You may need to include a copy of an ID with your ballot.
