HOW TO VOTE IN MONTANA

Make sure you vote is counted

REGISTER TO VOTE

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: OCTOBER 26

You can also register in person at your county election office or a late-registration location through Election Day, except between noon and 5:00 p.m. on November 2nd.

REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT

BY MAIL Some Montana counties may conduct all-mail elections this year. Check here to see if you should expect a ballot in the mail automatically.

FILL OUT YOUR BALLOT

Follow the ballot instructions carefully and be sure to sign the affirmation on the signature envelope.

RETURN YOUR BALLOT

Hand deliver your ballot to the county election office as soon as possible. USPS recommends doing so no later than October 27.

VOTE IN PERSON

Montana’s counties have the option to conduct an all-mail election. Check with your election administrator to find out if your county will have in person voting in November.
