HOW TO VOTE IN MARYLAND

Make sure you vote is counted

REGISTER TO VOTE

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: OCTOBER 13

You can also register in person at your county’s early voting center before Election Day or at your Election Day Voting Center on November 3rd.

REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT

ACTIVE, REGISTERED MARYLAND VOTERS SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A BALLOT APPLICATION IN THE MAIL. IF YOU STILL NEED A BALLOT REQUESTS MUST BE RECIEVED BY OCTOBER 20.

If you hand deliver your request to your local board of elections, you may be able to pick up your mail-in ballot, vote it, and submit it to an election official. See your local board of elections for hours of operation before you go.

FILL OUT YOUR BALLOT

Follow directions carefully and sign where indicated. Watch Maryland’s instructional video.

RETURN YOUR BALLOT

Hand deliver your ballot as soon as possible to your local board of elections by 8pm on election day, or to an early voting center, election day vote center, or a drop-off location before polls close on November 3

VOTE IN PERSON

OCTOBER 26 – NOVEMBER 2 (INCLUDING SATURDAY AND SUNDAY)

You may be able to request, vote, and submit your mail-in ballot IN PERSON at your local board of elections. Check for hours of operation before you go.
