Letter | Apologize for error, don’t bring up gender politics

I am proud that the City of Santa Cruz, once again, has a woman mayor. And people of all genders make mistakes. Mayor Watkins refused to agendize proposals signed by three councilmembers, the maximum amount allowed under the Brown Act. As a result, the council put them on the next agenda in a public motion.
