CNN’s SE Cupp says President Donald Trump’s daughter in-law, Lara Trump, made a misstep saying in a Bold TV interview that furloughed federal workers who are not getting paid because of the partial government shutdown are going through “a little bit of pain” but will be thanked by future generations for their sacrifice.
Lara Trump appeared on Fox News on January 24th and said her comments were taken out of context and that she’s very empathetic to the federal workers who are not getting paid.
